Your site says that you are Non-Profit, What is your 501(C)(3) Status, and registration number? It is not listed on your site, and I cannot find it on the Florida site. I might have been interested in helping, but it seems that something is amiss in so much as the Non-Profit agencies have never heard of you.

In Responce To Concerned Citizen Ms Sheri Tarrant May 28 09
Non- Profit Means That We Do Not Make A Living Off Of What We Do.We Do Not Ask The County Or State For Any Funding. We Pay For Every Thing That We Have Done To Our Rescues Feed Hay Vet Farrier You Name it It All Comes From Our Pockets. We Adopt Our Babys Out On Contracts The Adoption fee Goes Right Back In To The Other Rescues And Their Needs.I Have Vet Records Farrier Records Feed Hay Bills To Prove All. For Example Buttercup Her Hernia surgery was $455.00 Her Shots Ewt Westnile was 46.00 Her Coggins was 30.00 dollars Her Farrier Care For every six weeks run 25.00 X 5 trimings= $125.00 Womier first month 26.00 dollars Then 13.50 every 3 months so lets see that would be total 52.00 Till She Was Adopted out Ok nThen Their Is The Feed And Hay And Oil Bran ect from oct 08 till april 09 Hay 60.00 Dollars a roll 1 roll a month would be 360.00 Triple Crown Compleat 1 bag 16.50 Lesuire 10% 1 bag is 9.50 That would be 52.00 a month so that would be 312.00 for about 6 months So We Have around 1,380 Dollars Wraped up in this Special Little Girl And WE Made Nothing From Her She Was Adopted out On A Free No Sale No Trade Contract But Guess What We SAVED HER LIFE Gave her a CHANCE IN LIFE. And Not every Horse has the same needs Buck we had over 600.00 dollars in him And Have All The Bills And Adopted him out On A Contract For Only 300.00 Dollars We Took A loss Uhmmm But He Does have A wonderful For Ever Loving Home THAT WAS THE GOAL Not to make a Profit. You are welcome to come see our horses any time see what we do to Help the Ones In Need .We train other folks horses to pay for our Rescues We Help Other Folks Place Their Horses In Good Homes Some Times They Make A Dontion Towards our Rescues We Make Doggie Coats By Hand To Help Our Rescues. If You Have Any Questions Or Concerns You Are Welcome To Contact Us Any Time or stop in and visit.

Dear BnW,

I just wanted to drop you a few lines and let you know that the horse called Drifter has been adopted into my family! We actually got to meet this gentle guy back in 2004 and he was striking!! Adrienne, his owner at the time, could do anything with him, including crawl under him, stand up in the saddle, etc... He is also the Sire to our 2007 filly. She placed him into what she thought was a loving home around the end of 2007. Boy was she surprised to hear what had happened to him via Baker County Animal Control!!! I actully saw him listed here on your site after hearing about your farm through Shelia Dennuci, the owner of Snow Flake, who is a very good friend of mine. I was so shocked to see Flash listed on your rescue page to say none the least! I was so shocked to know that Flash was the one that I had read about in the Baker County Press who was about starved to death! I do not know if I can get into trouble by writing the people's name, so I will leave that out until the case if heard within the court system. The lady who owned him prior to his arrival at the abuseive family was besides herself to hear of what had happened. She also is testifing for the State of Fl against the family that recieved Flash/Drifter. The abusive owners are getting ready to have their day in court and he is looking at prison time for Child Abuse, Animal Neglect/Abuse. Flash is now gelded. He had not been riden since 2007 and when he arrived here, he brushed him out, walked him around, lightly lounged him, and re-introduced him all over again to the saddle, saddle pad, and bridle. He was concerned over the saddle pad, very nervous at first. Rubbed him down with it and talked and just loved on him!! Needless to say, he was mounted witihn one hour and asked to do several movements while under saddle with a rider. He has forgotten some of the basic Dressage he was taught and the side-pass, but did a great walk, extended walk, collected trot, jog trot, floating trot, and then an extended trot. He was then asked to whoa, collect his thoughts, and then asked to back, which he did perfectly for a pace of 5 steps. He was then asked to go into a walk, jog trot, and into a collected canter (lope). All perfect!!!! He was then ridden out of the yard and allowed to gallop and when asked, he did his sliding stop. I am sending you pictures of him so you can see for yourself that he is well under way to becoming the "man" that I knew a few years ago!! We are thankful to have found him on your website, which I was so shocked and furious when I realized he was the one about starved to death in the newspaper in 2008!! I want to thank you again for putting him on your page, as I would never have been able to get into contact with the lady who had adopted him from the Baker County Animal COntrol! God Bless you and the horses that have the blessing to come in contact with you and your caring family! Shelia speaks so highly of you and the care you provide for your horses and needy horses too! P.S. She said Dreamer is such a cutie in person!! Take care and God Bless, Tracy

Mrs Hall,

Thanks for posting the update on Sue. She looks good, even though looking at her made us very sad. We really loved Sue. We just done what we thought would be best for her.We started Jackie on triple crown growth and wow what a difference that has made, shes growing like a weed. Jenna and I have been working with her on her ground manners and she is doing good. I was suprised how well she did after her momma left, I thought she would have separation anxiety, but she didnt.
Anyhow, what you guys are doing is wonderful and we want to thank you as we know Sue will be took care of.
Please give her a kiss for us.

Hello, I am a relatively new Florida resident from NYC and New England. I am trying to get involved with the horse community down here, and was browsing the Internet and found your site. I enjoyed clicking on all the links, and especially the ones on how you rescued and rehabbed the various equines to health and good homes. I was also surprised to see the picture of such a large Northern looking barn complex on a Florida site! lol

I am involved in Rescue via the Internet and connections only; you can see two of my groups on Facebook, Castaways, and AC4H. I also have a Saddlebred Sport horse group there too. Thanks for your great hearts! Linda

Hey,

Rebel is awesome, we love him so much. When we feed him and he is done eating, he will stretch his Head over the wall of the stall and go down each of us for kisses. LOL My older son is doing so well with him and making sure he does his ground manners, I'm so proud of him. When we pull up he gets so excited to see us. My husband is about finished with his fence for me. Just to let you know that the boys love him so much and are really good with him, I'm amazed LOL We Want to thank you so much for rebel he is so good we all just love him to death I took a couple of pictures yesterday, but for some reason my camera is not holding a charge, I may need a new battery, When I get it fixed I will email you pics.

Hey Mrs.Hall, I was just seeing if you got the pictures of Gypsy. If you did I just wanted to know what you thought of her. She being a really good girl. She knows she is spoiled to, I have to talk to her every time I step one foot out the door. when I go around the her pasture. She expects to be groomed every day and I just bought a lot of treats so she literally tried to go through me and my friend to get to them. She would take her head and push us out of the way of the bag. LOL. She is so comical. Everything she does makes me laugh. I don't know what I would do with out her. All of my friends say I spoil her more then I spoiled my old horse Blade. Which I kind of agreed, LOL, she gets every thing she wants. ThankYou Christina Bradley and Gypsy Rose

Hey Mrs.Wauneda,
I just felt like I should email to let you know how Gypsy was doing. I really like her. She follows me around the pasture and she doesn't want me to leave her when she eats her grain. She gets a lot of attention. I brush her every morning, evening, and in the afternoon while she is eating. She gets a fly mask on during the day and a fly sheet on during the night. She is to sweet to be eaten up by flys and mosquitos. I will be sure to get pictures of her to you next month.
Thank You Christina Bradley
